SOSR: Scalable one-hop source routing (SOSR) is a system that I developed to improve the reliability of Internet paths. SOSR detects failures in the default Internet paths and recovers from them by routing via intermediate nodes located elsewhere in the Internet. To use this system for applications like Web browsing, you need to install SOSR policy code on your computer and run NAT code on some intermediate nodes of your choice. I have developed and tested SOSR policy code for linux 2.4 and 2.6 kernels and NAT code for Planetlab v2 kernel. Please send me mail for source code.
King: I designed this tool to estimate latency between arbitrary Internet hosts. Please follow the link for source code.
Sprobe: I helped Stefan develop this tool to estimate bottleneck bandwidth in uncooperative environments. Please follow the link for source code.
