Allen Clement's research interests include Fault tolerance, security, distributed systems, cluster services, Internet- and large-scale services, and game theory. He received his AB in Computer Science from Princeton University. Following graduation he was an International Fellow at Ngee Ann Polytechnic in Singapore and spent one year at The University of British Columbia working with Will Evans. He completed his graduate studies with Lorenzo Alvisi and Mike Dahlin in the Laboratory for Advanced Systems Research at the University of Texas at Austin and is currently a faculty (tenure track) at MPI-SWS.
